The podcast of Pride and Prejudice is coming to an end soon (Chapter 61 being the last episode). As the recording was made about three years ago, listening back I find many embarrassing bits -- along with a few that are more or less adequate. Overall, the performance is uneven at best; still, I think the whole experience had been material to the improvement of my skills.

Going forward, I'm podcasting Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen every Saturday (or Sunday), Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad on Tuesdays, and several episodes from Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle on Thursdays. All recordings were made within the last year, so I hope they would show some glimmers of progress.

I might also podcast selected short stories and excerpts from works of non-fiction from time to time.

お聴きいただいてきたPride and Prejudiceは、まもなく終わりを迎える（Chapter 61が最終回）。3年ほど前に録音したものなので、聴き返してみると赤面するような間違いもあれば意外にまともな箇所もあったりで、完成度はいま一つ物足りないが、僕にとっては重要な成長の１ステップだったように思う。

これからの予定だが、やはりオーステンのSense and Sensibilityを毎週土or日曜に、そして火曜にはコンラッドのHeart of Darkness、木曜はドイルのシャーロックホームズの冒険より数編、というラインアップで、週3回お届けしようと思う。いずれもこの1年以内に録音したものだ。Pride and Prejudiceに比べて少しは進歩のあとが見えればうれしいが。

そのほか不定期に短編やノンフィクションの抜粋なども交ぜようかと考えている。

新シリーズをお楽しみに。
